Medway Youth Soccer’s annual Soccer Day celebration for all in-town
teams will take place Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011. The festivities are
held in conjunction with the Home and School Association’s Pumpkin Fair.
Held at the Middle School complex, Soccer Day is a day for the whole
family, beginning with the Parade of Champions at 12 noon. We ask that
all players show up at the field at 11:30 a.m. Players are to
meet in the area behind where the old bleachers used to stand.
Games start at 12:30 p.m. All teams will play two games.
All players will receive participation medals, to be distributed by
their coaches.
Medway Youth Soccer will be running a concession stand, selling
hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, coffee and candy. There will also be
merchandise sold, such as colored hair spray and MYS magnets.
In between or after games, families are encouraged to visit the Pumpkin
Fair and enjoy the activities there for the kids.
